Taking the lead from the creative team, who chosen a recycled rag paper for the cards, I found envelopes in the same material to match and to complete the ‘tactile feel’ I suggested that the job be printed letterpress. The handwritten messages were scanned and retouched in Photoshop before being dropped into the artwork files. I was able to source locally, a small, quality letterpress printer and passed the job on press. I tracked down the right size of clear plastic wallets and also sourced a printer to produce the clear sticker for the outside, as well as a small sticker to be placed inside the card.
